Wintek's Statement on Net Neutrality

December 20, 2017

With the FCC's vote on Net Neutrality on December 14th, 2017, we are extremely disappointed in the decision to remove Net Neutrality protections. The protections that were in place allowed a free and open Internet for all users, regardless of their economic status. As new ideas and new economic development happen, having an open platform for the free exchange of information is paramount. This not only benefits consumers, but businesses and the economy as a whole. The end result is innovation that ends up pushing the world forward.

Wintek does not and will not block websites, reduce the speed of which traffic traverses our network based on content, or discriminate our customers’ traffic. Wintek fully supports the FCC’s 2010 Open Internet Order. Our customers today and in the future, will continue to have access to the Internet as it currently works.
